Investments

The rich makes every purchase an investment. At first, I mistakenly assumed this applies to money only, then I learned the same applies to time and energy(will power). Time, money, energy needs to be invested properly to receive high-yielding returns. One would have to consider the input price on how time/money/energy is distributed properly when compared to the output price (how much time/money/energy) is received back. For something to be worth an investment, the output needs to exceed the input, or else the decision would be terrible.

However sometimes, investments themselves have a sunken cost. What if there are multiple investment options for the same price, but one of them is better than the other? To choose to invest in one that is not the best one would mean there's actually a potential lost. So investments aren't just about having positive returns, it is also about having the most amount of positive returns compared to every other option.

I'm bringing this up because I would like to improve my selection of friends, how I spend my time, how I make purchases, and what I choose to focus my energy on.

Here is a list of opportunities, I plan to attend to improve my skill sets.

• Fitness/ Martial-Arts Classes   

For now, Toastmasters is the one of the best investments of time, money and energy anyone can ask for. I'm hoping to find similar level of investments.
