Last week, I added the goal of how I wanted to save money by cutting it down to 100 dollars a week. I been realizing that this is way too easier to be said than done. An analysis is needed to be done on why I can't easily do this : Whenever I lift or work out, the hunger pangs afterwards requires me to eat an excessive amount for that day to fill up my stomach and recover. Sometimes I have to actually eat 4 to 5 meals a day rather than the normal 3 days meals a day. This is the biggest wallet cleaner, money on "luxury" foods.
On the day I realized this problem of my, I got an lunch bag at Dollarama. My aspirations for this bag is so that I would carry at least a meal around with me to the gym so I wouldn't waste money eating out. Hopefully, this would help me save some money in the long term.
I got a locker from Woodsworth College this week and have been regularly storing my electronics. This has been extremely helpful for me. I managed to wake up regularly 7-9am this week and I am very happy by my progress. I will be able to keep this up for the rest of the semester. At this point, I don't think it is really necessary for me to keep Goal #12 anymore for 21 days, I'll consider it completed.
This Thursday, I had a talk with one of my friends. He helped me address some of my flaws: specifically : talking too fast and bringing up certain taboo topics. Through careful self-reflection, I realized that this has more to do about poor emotional control when it comes to my happy moments. For the last few years, I've been working on mostly controlling my NEGATIVE emotions, but I did not have an opportunity to learn to control my POSITIVE emotions. So I decided this will actually be a challenge of my that I will need to figure how to overcome. Furthermore, my friend complains to me that I need to be more organized and have better hygiene. I couldn't agree further and I will be figuring out how to exactly do this...though I will need to come up with some thing.
