Rewalking The Disciplined Path

During the earlier days of my IBM internship, my main ambition for those sixteen months was to improve my competitive side and my masculine side. I wanted to be "transformed" before I go back to school.  I had a variety of ambitions such as winning coding competitions, building a massive career network, having more professional development, becoming more fit and generally becoming more "masculine". Getting more involved with Toastmasters and the alike. I wanted to be even more focused and disciplined in my life.

Sadly, due to a very unfortunate incidence, I got depressed and had to slowly use half of my internship period to put myself back together. I lost all of my discipline, and generally was in a state of constant weakness and vulnerability. It wasn't a total lost, as I managed to at least drastically increase my psychologist side.

It's been a tough few years but I got back to most of who I once was. I believe, at this point, given a significant amount of struggles in the last few years, I'm ready to go back to that disciplined path I once was walking on. However, it will not be an easy journey and there will many obstacles. I'm ready for those obstacles once again.

In the past, whenever there was a relationship breakdown. I would write a letter or write a story/poem about it in one of my scripts. This was the past/"feminine" me way of moving on. Those short term solutions didn't do much to help me feel better in the long term. Now, I realized that being competitive/masculine is way more important. I have decided for this year, the objective would be to achieve one "disciplined" goal for each relationship break down. With each of the person I've lost somehow relevant to helping me becoming more "disciplined".

This year, will be specifically designed to put me back on track. It will be all about doing something "disciplined" for each of the 16 persons. I have about ten more months remaining before 2018 and it's time to make more self-regulatory choices.
